The Most Common Beginner Photography Mistakes
By Adarsh Nareda – 9 Years of Capturing Moments
Photography is a beautiful journey, but like any craft, beginners often stumble along the way. After 9 years behind the lens, I’ve noticed a few common mistakes that can easily be avoided:
1. Not Understanding Your Camera
Many beginners stick to auto mode and miss the creative control their camera offers. Take time to learn shutter speed, aperture, and ISO—it can transform your photos
2. Avoiding Composition: A well-composed photograph may elevate an ordinary subject to an extraordinary level.
To grab the viewer's attention, use leading lines, the rule of thirds, and insightful frame.
3 Lack of Sharpness: Its frustrates me when images are blurry**
Make sure your subject is prominent, particularly in portraiture or fast-paced
scenarios.

4. Moderate Editing Only
Over-editing a photograph can worsen its quality.
Try to create edits that are soothing and appears natural.
Playing with Light
Offering a appealing picture depends on the lighting.
Try various times of the day, steer clear of harsh shadows, and practice using natural light.

being a photographer requires patience and practice. Early avoiding of these common mistakes can accelerate the process of growth and enable you to take beautiful pictures.
I've been improving my skills from last 9 years, and every error taught me something new. Continue to shoot, continue to learn, and relish each click!
